When heart and head collides

I don’t disclose it but I suffer from constant mood swings. My heart has a habit of beating in fast-n-slow zigzag rhythm. Anything can make me feel like the worst person in the universe and suddenly something magical happens & I start flying again.

My heart still makes me feel like a little kid who is in a life imprisonment of Head. This kid begs each day for his freedom. He wants to play in the mud, laugh like a new born and scream like a crazy animal. But he can not do all these things. He is asked to stay sober, act decent and weight words before speaking. He is asked to keep his good image alive in front of this holy world.

All our past experiences related to anything and everything gets stored in your Head. Those memories and learning assist it to take wise decisions for our present and future. We all want success, money & fame and you can not deny the truth that the decisions executed with Head always leads us to success.

But then why do we feel unsatisfied after getting all the beautiful things in life? Why do we feel incomplete even when our life is swamped with success, money & fame? Why do we feel so alone even when we are surrounded by this world?

On every step we end up arguing with ourselves. Our heart and head never moves in the same direction. The things which matter a lot to our heart seems non-sense to the head and vice versa. The combination of Practical Heart and Emotional Heart is something which makes things very difficult. It’s hard to satisfy the conditions of both at the same time.

Very few people get lucky to receive second chance in life to rectify their mistakes. We always cry for things which were never ours. We associate ourselves with people and things which are not meant for us. We regret that we listened to our head when our heart was bleeding for mercy. So think twice before getting to any conclusion.

To avoid this collision; always keep a balance in all your steps / decisions. Listen to your heart and head…try to understand the point of view of both. Don’t neglect the negative and positive sides of your step. You will never regret if your decisions comes out with the mutual agreement of your heart and head.
